Near the market

The main market in Cap Ferret is particularly popular with a covered hall open all year round on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. From mid-June to mid-September, the covered market and adjoining square fill every morning with seasonal vendors and local producers.
The market gives the whole area a lively atmosphere during summer, making it a sought-after district. Most of the properties nearby consist of houses with gardens. It becomes a fairly calm and residential district from lunchtime!
Three other daily markets are held on the peninsula during summer: Lège, Claouey and Piraillan.
